Gods Rolling Thunder, the biker Church in a bar

So, why a Church in a bar? Where do you think Jesus would have gone? It really is that simple. GRT’s motto is “More Jesus, Less Church”. We all know people who were kept from the truth of the Word by dogma, orthodoxy and legalism. GRT seeks to break the mold of many modern Churches and meet people right where they are.  

Gods Rolling Thunder (GRT) was established in 2002. It is the calling and vision of Dakota Schultz. GRT is called a biker Church because its founder and first members were pretty much all bikers, but its membership and influence have expanded enough to stretch the definition. All are welcome and encouraged to participate as we seek to spread the word of our Lord with a focus on love and encouragement.

 Dakota or Pastor Dakota. Dakota has a long record of service to the Lord. As a Navy Sea-bee in Vietnam he helped build a Church for the locals, and is an ordained Deacon and Pastor.

For several years before GRT was founded he organized Thanksgiving and Christmas “adoptions” of local families in need, providing turnkey meals and complete Christmas experiences often with Santa showing up on a Harley for the kids.

GRT has supported missions in Russia and South America, along with local ministries such as Safe House and No Longer Bound. GRT encourages and has been blessed with many faithful servants of the Lord who have dedicated themselves to serve others.
